For seven months, Kirsten Scheibke has been supporting the Argentinian NGO “Patrimonio Natural” as part of her voluntary service. In a detailed report, she provides information about the waste problems in her host country and shows ways in which the situation could be improved.
In mid-June it's that time again. On June 15/16, 2024, the third statewide "Day of Biodiversity" will take place, coordinated by the Baden-Württemberg State Nature Conservation Association (LNV). In August it is "Bat Night time" again. Starting on August 20th, the "Eberbach Bat Nights" will be about the mysterious inhabitants of the venerable walls of Eberbach Monastery in the Rheingau. You will learn interesting, unknown and amazing facts about bats and use special detectors to track down these fascinating animals.
On September 6th and 7th, 2024, the Wiesbaden Volunteer Day will celebrate its 17th anniversary. A great opportunity for anyone who wants to volunteer and is looking for a chance to "take a look". We are still looking for lots of helping hands.
