Many young people would like to go abroad for several months or even a whole year and work on nature conservation and social projects.When they return, they often bring something back with them that will benefit them for the rest of their lives: experiences with another culture and more clarity about how and in what profession they want to contribute to our society.

For this reason, since 2019 we have been supporting young adults who decide to do international volunteer work. And the volunteers give something back to us by reporting on their projects and their experiences.

After the break forced by the Corona pandemic, we have expanded our commitment to international volunteer services from 2021.The focus lWe are on thender of Central and South America.
We receive requests for funding and actively look for suitable projects in which nature conservation and nature education are particularly linked. To this end, we also maintain close contacts with organizations that prepare the volunteer services and supervise and support the young people on site.

In 2021, we supported a total of four volunteers in projects in Bolivia and Ecuador. In autumn 2022, two young women traveled to their projects in Mexico and Argentina. Would you like to find out more about the volunteer projects we support?

For the volunteer services 2023/2024, we have decided to continue supporting the two projects in Argentina and Mexico.With Fiona and Nele in Mexico and Kirsten in Argentina, there will again be three committed young people, after the last two volunteers, who will report to us on the development of the projects.But we would like to expand our commitment even further and, from 2024, support four or even five volunteers on their adventure in Central and South America. To do this, we need your help.


How can you support us? With just €5 a month or €60 a year, you can help support the stays abroad of our committed volunteers. Together with you, we can make even more young people aware of the issue of nature conservation and show them that they can make a big difference.Such experiences can have a lasting impact on individuals and also help to promote and sustain the protection of nature in the respective countries. Of course, you can also increase the amount you support us with. With the 'Pablo Education Sponsorship' we have a special thank you for you.


For a donation of €100 or more, you will receive "our Pablo", a llama that is only produced in small numbers and is handmade from fabric scraps and old clothing. Each one is unique and there are only a few left!
